In an effort to keep Downtown WPB beautiful, the DDA purchased a six-month supply of cleaners, paints, and other maintenance items for the WPB Police Department’s Graffiti Unit to clean and repair damage on Downtown walls and surfaces. If you see graffiti please report the location to Catherine Ast at firstname.lastname@example.org or 561.833.8873.
In an effort to maintain the clean and welcoming atmosphere of the Downtown district, the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has contracted with Michael John’s Inc., to provide two full time cleaning positions as part of the brand new Downtown Clean Team! The team is tasked with maintaining public spaces throughout the district three days a week from 7am-3pm. DDA has contracted additional services through landscape contractor, Scott Lewis’ Gardening to have a crew member cleaning and maintaining the district Monday – Friday 8am-4pm.

DDA Security Ambassador Program
The Downtown Development Authority introduced regular Public Safety Guides in the Clematis District to provide Downtown patrons with an on-the-street information resource and extra, customer-friendly police presence to minimize nuisance issues and make everyone’s experience the best it can be. Easily identifiable in bright yellow shirts, these guides are happy to provide directions to restaurants or shops. If you need assistance of any kind while visiting Downtown, don’t hesitate to ask one our guides for help!
